Treatment Literacy Training for Service Providers & SPARSHA Members
Bandhu Social Welfare Society organized ‘Treatment literacy training for service providers & SPARSHA Members’ with the support of ViiV Healthcare’s Positive Action project on February 13 – 15, 2018 at Chileykotha, Lalmatia, Dhaka from 09.00 AM to 05:00 PM. A total 20 Members from Govt. service providers and SPARSHA members were participated in the Training.
This is the 3-three-day long training with the aim to create conducive environment for HIV infected and affected gender diversified people in health service settings and capacity developed of service providers & SPARSHA members on treatment literacy.
Basic concept of HIV and AIDS, CD4 counting and viral load examine, ARV, STI, Opportunistic Infection etc. topics covered by the training facilitator Mohammad Rofiqul Islam Royal, Deputy Manager –Training and Counseling, Bandhu Social Welfare Society.
In the training, participatory method was followed. Encourage participants to involve in group work with active participation through lecture, Feedback session, storytelling, question & answer, brainstorming, open discussion, experience sharing and presentation.
Deputy Director and P. M of ASP Dr. Md. Belal Hossain and Executive Director of Bandhu Social Welfare Society Shale Ahmed were present in the session.They opined that it is a good example of coordination where GO-NGO participants are getting the training jointly.
Last day of Training certificate provided to the participants and they were happy and express their gratitude to Bandhu to organize such kind of training.
