A team led by the Executive Director Mr. Shale Ahmed had a courtesy visit with the newly appointed chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed. On the morning of December 29, 2022, the Bandhu team met with the Chairman of the NHRC. In this short visit, the new chairman Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed ensured that the collaboration will continue and strengthen in the future.

Bandhu and the NHRC have a long history of working together to ensure the rights and dignity of the transgender and gender-diverse communities of Bangladesh.
