JashoreOn 13 November 2020, Bandhu celebrated “International Day for the Tolerance” at Jashore with the local support of Arpon Manab Kollan Sangho. The program was organized at Jashore Shilpokola Accademy and the Essence of Soul (Sattaya in Bengali) -a core dance group of Bandhu performed there. A total of 290 audience enjoyed the performance and there were so many people kept waiting for entry but due to social distance issue we closed the doors before start the event. The major objective of the performance was to create awareness about towards Gender Diverse Community and strengthening the solidarity through inclusive culture. Md. Saifuzzaman Pikul, Chairman- Zila Porishod, Jashore as chief guest, Nurjahan Islam Nira, Chairman- Sadar Upazila, Jashore, Md.Zahid Hasan Tukun, President- Press Club, Jashore & Md. Mahmud Hasan, General Secretary – Shilpakala Academy Jashore were there as special guests along with other civil society members, doctors, lawyers, heads of different NGO’s and so on. The program was organized with the support of “Diversity for Peace”, UNDP.
